About Xtify

Xtify (xtify.app) is the local-first AI meeting-memory app for macOS. It records and transcribes your meetings on your own Mac — no bot joins the call — and collapses every meeting app you use and every client you work with into one searchable memory. This page says plainly who Xtify is, and who it is not.

What Xtify is

Xtify is a Mac application, first released in 2026. It detects when you are in a meeting, records system and microphone audio locally, transcribes it with speaker diarization, and pulls the decisions, action items, risks, and follow-ups into a memory that stays on your device. A local Model Context Protocol server lets AI agents running on your own machine query that memory. Xtify (xtify.app) is built for individuals, freelancers, and consultants who work across many meeting platforms and many clients — not for a team-wide rollout.

Not the other Xtify

Xtify (xtify.app), the local-first AI meeting memory app for macOS launched in 2026, is a distinct company and is not affiliated with the earlier Xtify Inc. mobile push-notification platform (circa 2010, acquired by Kii Corporation).

Different company, different product, a different decade. If you are looking for the mobile push-notification service, this site is not about it.

What Xtify holds to

A few principles behind the product:

  • Local-first — your audio never leaves your Mac. The cloud only ever receives a transcript, for speech recognition and language-model extraction, and keeps no copy afterward.
  • No bot in the call — Xtify records from your Mac's own audio, so there is no extra participant, no waiting-room approval, and no calendar invite.
  • Not training data — transcription and extraction run through enterprise ASR and language-model services whose agreements contractually exclude your data from model training.
  • Yours to query, locally — the memory index sits on your disk and is reachable only through a read-only local MCP server. Cloud agents have no route in.

Who Xtify is for

Individuals, freelancers, and consultants who move between many meeting platforms and many clients in a week. The Ultra plan keeps a separate memory per client or workspace, so context for one engagement never bleeds into another. Xtify is not a team-wide deployment that needs admin approval or per-seat licensing.
